‘Ved Prachar Saptah’ concludes with ‘Purnaahuti’ at Arya Samaj Temple

JAMMU, Oct 12: Veda Prachar Saptah, which commenced on October 5, 2014 here at Arya Samaj Temple, Bakshi Nagar, concluded today with ‘Purnaahuti’.
During the 7-day religious event, various Veda Gyanis from different States of the Country participated and educated the people about the importance and advantages of Vedas and Yagyas.
The main purpose of the religious event was to apprise the people about the knowledge of Vedas.
During the week long religious event, every morning the Yagya was performed with reciting of mantras of Chaturveda while in evening the Yagya was performed with Gyatri mantras.
The event concluded today with ‘Purnaahuti’. Eleven Havan-Kund were established today where Purnaahuti was given through the use of Veda Mantras.
On the occasion, Acharya Karamveer ji of Ajmer with the help of Veda mantras gave sermons to the devotees. Special discussion on Yog and Yagya was also held on the occasion, in which Acharya Vikas of MP and Acharya Ravi Kant from Jammu actively participated and deliberated on the advantages of Yog and Yagya.
Bhajan Updeshak, Acharya Sandeep ji of Delhi also threw light on the Arya Samaj sanskriti and importance of Vedas, Yog and Yagyas in the life of Arya Samajis.
