Srinagar, Dec 23: Chairman, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Parliamentary Board, Abdul Rehman Veeri, today directed party cadres in districts to gear up for the upcoming ULB elections in Kashmir.
Addressing a gathering of the party’s district presidents in Kashmir, Veeri stated that the ULB and corporation elections would be even more competitive than the Assembly elections.

Veeri emphasized the importance of identifying suitable candidates, marking the start of preparations for the upcoming polls.
“Taking responsibility is easy, but what matters is performance. I am confident the district presidents will deliver on the ground,” he added.
During the event, the party welcomed Khursheed Alam as General Secretary, along with District Presidents Abdul Qayoom Bhat, Mohammad Yaseen Bhat, and Zahoor Ahmed, at the party headquarters.
