POONCH, Oct 28: The police today seized a vehicle and rescued five bovine animals on Mughal Road while an absconder evading arrest since long was also nabbed.
Official sources said that police naka party under the supervision of SHO Surankote Anzir Mir during Naka at Jogi Morh in Behramgalla area today intercepted Tata Mobile vehicle No. JK12A/3618 and rescued five milch animals. Driver of the vehicle, Javed Iqbal, son of Hakam Din was arrested and a case FIR No. 242/2017 was registered against him.
Meanwhile, Poonch police party led by SHO Ajay Jamwal, nabbed an absconder Showkat Ali, son of Alif Din, resident of Nangali last night. He was wanted in case FIR No. 121/ 2011.
