RAJOURI, Dec 15: The police seized a vehicle along with six bovine animals being smuggled to Kashmir via Mughal Road and arrested one smuggler in this connection in Kandi area last night.
Official sources said that a police party from Kandi led by SI Jahangir Ahmed during naka on Kotranka-Rajouri road intercepted Tata Mobile vehicle No. JK-11/ 9320 and found six bovine animals loaded in it. The vehicle was moving towards Rajouri and to Mughal Road. The police party nabbed the smuggler Mohd Junaid, son of Mohd Sharief, resident of Gadyog, Kotranka and registered a case FIR No. 92/ 2016 in this connection.
