DODA, Dec 12: Seven persons were injured when a vehicle they were onboard fell into a gorge here this morning.
Sources informed that the ill fated vehicle of TATA Sumo make bearing registration number JK06-8853 was coming from Chuchetra and proceeding towards Doda town but it met with an accident en-route near Bari leaving the seven persons travelling in the vehicle injured.
The injured were shifted to Government Medical College Doda for treatment.
They were identified as Tanveer Ahmed, son of Imtiyaz Ahmed, resident of Budni; Bashir Ahmed, son of Abjabar; Abrar Ahmed, son of Khurshid Ahmed, resident of Budni; Parbhat Singh, son of Hem Raj, resident of Chatia; Akthar Hussain, son of Abdul Gani Butt, resident of Shaleen; Rubina Begum, wife of Mohmmad Rafiq, resident of Kastigarh and Mohammad Rafiq, son of Mohammad Ramzan, resident of Soli.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
