RAMBAN, Apr 4: Three passengers including a minor and women today sustained critical head injuries after their vehicle was hit by shooting stones in Rampari, Chambalwass area of Banihal on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
Police sources said that the vehicle of Tempo Traveler make bearing registration number JK14B-7714 was on way to Banihal from Udhampur when it was hit by shooting stones in which three passengers including a man, women and minor sustained injuries.
The injured were rushed to Sub District Hospital Banihal where after providing medical aid they were referred to Government Medical College and Hospital Anantnag for specialized treatment.
They said that the injured were identified as Suriya Gupta, his son Lakshit Gupta (10) and Mega Rastogi, wife of Suriya Kumar-all residents of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
