JAMMU, Aug 5: Gandhi Nagar Police arrested a vehicle lifter.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a person namely Eshan Gupta, son of Vijay Kumar of Shastri Nagar with Police Station Gandhi Nagar regarding theft of his scooty bearing Registration Number JKO2BT-7281.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 186/2022 under Section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Gandhi Nagar led by SHO Inspector Pankaj Sharma under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma did strenuous efforts and finally after connecting various leads, arrested the vehicle lifter, who was identified as Rohin Kumar, son of Jagir Lal of Dasor Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu.
On his disclosure, stolen scooty and one more motorcycle were recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
The overall operation was done under the supervision of SP South Mamta Sharma.
