RAJOURI, Apr 25: Foiling an attempt to smuggle bovine animals, the police seized a vehicle along with 10 cattle in Chingus area of Rajouri but the driver managed to escape from the spot last night.
Official sources said that a police party from PP Chingus during checking apprehended a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration No. JK11D- 9319 loaded with 10 bovine animals at village Agrati which were being transported towards Rajouri. Driver of the vehicle managed to escape. The police seized the vehicle along with cattle and registered a case in this connection.
