RAJOURI, June 13: The police seized a Tata mobile vehicle at Thannamandi and rescued six bovine animals being smuggled to Kashmir via Mughal Road during morning hours today.
Official sources said that a police naka party from Thannamandi led by SHO during vehicle checking at TCP, intercepted vehicle no. JK-11/ 0485 and found six bovine animals loaded in it. The police arrested its driver- Irshan Mustafa, son of Mohd Qayoom, resident of Ujhan in Darhal and registered a case FIR No. 100/ 2019 RPC against him. The cattle were rescued. The vehicle was on way to Shopian from Rajouri.
