RAJOURI, July 25: The police claimed to have seized a Tata Mobile vehicle loaded with nine bovine animals in Lamberi area of Nowshera last night while driver of the vehicle escaped from the spot.
Official sources said that a police naka party signaled a Tata Mobile vehicle No. JK-11E/5165 at Lamberi last night. The driver of the vehicle stopped near the Naka point and jumped away from the vehicle and ran away. The police failed to nab him and later found nine bovine animals loaded in the vehicle. The vehicle was said to be moving towards Rajouri and Mughal Road, for its final destination to Valley.
Nowshera police registered a case and started investigation. The smugglers managed to give slip to inattentive police naka party and escaped.
