JAMMU, May 7: Janipur police busted vehicles lifter gang with the arrest of six burglars.
As per police sources, a team from Janipur Police Station led by SHO Inspector Harmohinder Singh initiated action against motor vehicles lifters. On the basis of different leads, six thieves were arrested along with four stolen vehicles.
The arrested persons have been identified as Tufail Hussain, son of Mohammad Sharif of Mahore, District Reasi, at present Sector 7 Upper Roop Nagar, Jammu, Kunal Manhas, son of Karnail Singh of Mandlik Nagar, Paloura, Jammu, Ashish Sharma, son of Lekh Raj of Prem Nagar, District Doda, at present Barnai, Jammu, Amir Khan, son of Nazir Ahmed of Kamal Nagar, Bantalab, Jammu, Sourav Sariya, son of Bodh Raj of Lakker Mandi, Janipur, Jammu and Rishab Kalotra, son of Jia Lal of Nardani Raipur Jammu.
They were involved in cases registered under FIR Numbers 52/18 under Section 379 RPC, 64/19 under Section 379 and 68/19 under Section 379 RPC with Police Station Janipur.
Further investigation in these cases is going on.
