POONCH, Aug 22: A joint team of Poonch administration seized many vehicles, deflated tyres for illegal mining on river beds near Poonch city.
Officials said that a team comprising of ARTO Poonch, Basharat Mehmood, Naib Tehsildar Haveli, Maroof Khan along with other officials seized 5 vehicles, deflated tyres of 8 vehicles and recommended FIR against absconder drivers for doing illegal mining.
Naib Tehsidar Haveli, ARTO Poonch said that the action against illegal mining has been taken under overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Poonch and such drives against illegal mining shall be continued in future also.
