Vehicular movement on Birma bridge resumes

UDHAMPUR, July 27: Vehicular movement on Birma bridge resumed this morning even as the repair work on damaged portion of the approach road and bridge is going on.
The damaged portion was temporarily filled up with stones and soil and the vehicles were allowed to pass on the bridge, which was closed for the last two days after a part of it got damaged during heavy rain on Saturday.
The repair work is likely to take around two weeks and till then, all precautions shall be taken while allowing traffic on the bridge.
