JAMMU, Dec 27: Jang S. Verman, Senior Artist & Columnist on Art & Culture of J&K participated in 2nd Brahmaputra Art festival organized by SMD Art Foundation, an NGO of Assam at the banks of River Brahmaputra from Dec 22 to 27.
He is the only artist of J&K invited by the organizers. The artists of Italy, Turkey, South Korea, Dubai, Vietnam and Sri Lanka also took part in the event where folk artists of Assam, Chatisgarh, Sri Lanka displayed their talent in performing arts.
In the recent past, Verman’s art works were displayed in 34th ASROPA International Art Exhibition organized at Gunsa Art Centre in South Kores from Dec 1 to 10.
