JAMMU, Aug 12: Jammu based painter Jang S Verman has been invited to display his painting art in the International Art Exhibition and workshop in Stockholm, Sweden.
Both exhibition and workshop are part of Stockholm Culture Festival, an annual feature there.
The culture festival is being organized and sponsored by The City of Stockholm, Kulturfyren, Bilda, Artistgroup 10 WOMEN.
The festival is being organized on the theme ‘Sharing Sweden-India’. Paintings of four artists from India viz. Jang S Verman (Jammu, J&K), Late Naveen Dhiman (Sunder Nagar, HP), Prabhinder Lall (Chandigarh) and Sankari Mitra (Kolkatta, WB) will be included in this festival.
The contributor Sweden artists whose art works have been included in the festival are Anita Algret, Gunilla Lofgren, Naemi Bure, Elisabeth Lindell Noren, Eri-Maria van der Spank, Ann Nyberg, Lena Morge, Meth Fagerqvist, Asa Bujon and Orsi Mild.
Swedish Curators for these programmes are Anita Elgerot, Gunilla Löfgren and Naemi Bure, the artist members of ‘Artistgroup 10 WOMEN’.
