JAMMU, Aug 22:Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force (Delta), today organised a rally at Ramban for Veterans and Veer Naris residing in the area to alleviate the problems being faced by them.
The representatives from State Bank of India, Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Soldier Board and the Recruitment Node conducted lectures on Defence Salary Package (DSP) accounts, latest bank policies and various employment opportunities.
A medical camp was also conducted for the veterans living in far-flung areas of the District. The problems faced by veterans were also discussed and noted for pursuance and speedy redressal.
The Army also provided assistance to the veterans on in preparation of ECHS cards, canteen cards, CSD facilities, pension claims and other issues related to district administration.
Various prominent personalities from civil administration were also present in the rally.
