JAMMU, Jan 3: A deputation of Jammu & Kashmir Veterinary Doctors Association, Jammu led by its president, Dr Zafar Iqbal called on Secretary to Government Animal & Sheep Husbandry Department Sarita Chauhan and submitted a charter of demands to her.
It demanded time bound promotions be given after completion of required number of years of service and not from March every year to veterinary doctors, DPC of Veterinary doctors promoted to various cadres, creation of posts of DIO and PDO in newly created districts, exemption of veterinary doctors from election duties being essential services, declaring of all veterinary doctors as quasi permanent who have completed the required services for the same, regularization of trial and first aid centers besides settling of other demands.
