JAMMU, Apr 18: VHP State president, Leela Karan Sharma has taken strong note of pro separatist attitude of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed and condemned it strongly.
While talking to reporters here, today, he said spearheading the ugly face of separatists and anti nationals, Mr Sayeed has first released Masrat Alam knowing fully that he is hard core anti national and enemy agent. Even after the protests all over the country, the State Government failed to take action against Alam which is a cause of concern, he added.
Mr Sharma said it is strange that originally a FIR was lodged against Alam in which the maximum punishment is three years in spite of the fact that he had waged a war against the nation and committed the offense of sedition. It was only after 40 hours when the protests were held throughout the country the offenses under Section 121 and 124 of waging war and sedation were added in the FIR. This shows the attitude and mindset of the Chief Minister, he added.
He said Mr Sayeed who also holds the portfolio of Home Minister tried to befool the people of the nation and it is also his past record right from the day when he was the Union Home Minister.
He said in 2008 PDP has issued the order of allotting the land to Amarnath Shrine Board and later the same was withdrawn under the pressure of separatists forcing the Jammu people to launch the agitation.
Sharma demanded that all separatists including Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Moulvi Umar Farooq, Aisha Andrabi be booked for waging a war against India and sedition and hand over to NIA and cases be tried under fast track court.
He also demanded that AIIMS be established at Jammu as Kashmir has already a premier Medical Institute like SKIMS. He warned that people of Jammu will not tolerate of depriving them of establishing AIIMS at Jammu.
VHP patron Dr Rama Kant Dubey and other senior office bearers were also present in the press conference.
