VHP asks Union Govt to take tough stance against separatists

JAMMU, Mar 23: VHP State patron, Dr Rama Kant Dubey today asked the Union Government to take a tough stance towards separatists and anti national elements in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement issued here today Dr Dubey took serious exception to the statements of Hurriyat leaders challenging the Indian nationality and said that this has been because of soft stance of the Government of India towards them.
Dr Dubey said that every Union Government whether of UPA or NDA have not changed their policies towards separatists and anti nationalists in Kashmir Valley who continue to rule the roost.
He said these elements continue to get VVIP treatment through the hands of Government and all facilities are being provided to their families. Those challenging the nationality of India instead of being deported from the country are given a special treatment, he added.
Dr Dubey said the present NDA Government at Centre instead of toeing the line of its predecessor should take a tough stand against the anti national elements and should not tolerate their anti national outbursts. The Government should make it clear to them that J&K is not their property as it belongs to the Jammuites, Ladakhis, Kashmiri Pandits, Gujjars, Bakerwals, Shias and Sunis. A handful of separatists can’t rule the roost, he added.
