VHP for tough action against Pakistan

JAMMU, Oct 21: Taking Centre to task for continuous firing by Pakistan on International Border (IB) and Line of Control (LoC), State VHP president, Dr Rama Kant Dubey has urged the Union Government to act decisively against Pakistan.
Talking to reporters here, today along with VHP City president Gopal Dass Pandey and secretary of the organization, Sukh Ram, Dr Dubey said that how many times the people living along IB and LoC will be uprooted.
He said the people have migrated from some border villages as they feel scared and don’t know which bullet will kill them. But it is unfortunate that the administration has not provided any relief to them so far and even did not bother to see their plight.
He said these people have seen horrible and harsh conditions since 1947 and feel scared due to continuous uncertainty on borders for which India is more responsible than Pakistan as it always adopted a lenient approach towards Pakistan since 1947. He, while opposing the visit of Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Schinde to the State to assess the situation on border and LoC created due to Pak shelling said this visit will not serve any purpose and can’t lessen the miseries of border people.
He asked who are responsible for the plight of the border people since 1947 in general and after 1989 in particular and what role the GoI performed in teaching Pakistan a lesson for its misadventures.
