JAMMU, Sept 28: Vishwa Hindu Parishad today honoured Sanskrit scholar, social reformer and president of Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust, Mahant Rohit Shastri for his achievements in the field of Sanskrit language.
On this occasion, VHP State chief patron Dr Rama Kant Dubey presented a trophy and a certificate as a sign of memento to inspire Mahant to continue his activities in the field of Sanskrit.
Speaking on this occasion, Rama Kant Dubey listed achievements of Mahant Rohit Shastri, like publishing many Magazines, Books and articles in Daily newspapers, Panchang, Panchang calendars and many more.
On this occasion, VHP State general secretary Shakti Dutt Sharma, Sudarshan Khajuria, Rakesh Sharma, Madhav Sharma and many other dignitaries were also present.
Pertinent to mention that Mahant Rohit Shastri has already been honored by several State dignities like J&K Governor, MPs and MLAs. Many Sabhas, societies, NGOs and others have also honoured him.
