JAMMU, Oct 23: Vishwa Hindu Parishad has taken strong exception PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti’s views on Indian National Flag and demanded action against her.
“Mufti insulted the National Flag by comparing it with the flag of erstwhile J&K State, and by calling parliament’s resolution declaring abolition of Article 370 and 35 A, reconstituting of J&K and Ladakh as separate Union Territories, as ‘dacoity’ and by calling the Government of India as dacoits,” said Rajesh Gupta, working president of VHP J&K, Ladakh.
Gupta said that Mehbooba has resorted to the tactics of scoundrels and is trying to regain attention by singing anti- Government and communal rhetoric. “By mentioning Shri Ram Temple issue again, she has tried to disrespect the Supreme Court and by mentioning CAA, she has shown her communal state mind for persecuted minorities of erstwhile regions belonging to Bharat,” he added.
He warned Mehbooba for her utterances and demanded legitimate legal action against her for insulting the National Flag as well as Supreme Court.
