JAMMU, June 30: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has warned Government against granting permission to separatist leaders to meet the Pak High Commissioner in New Delhi on July 3.
Talking to reporters here today, VHP state president Dr Rama Kant Dubey said under what rule the separatists are being permitted to meet the Pak High Commissioner. He warned that meeting of separatists with Pak High Commissioner will be of serious consequences as they are the people who are responsible for mass exodus of Hindus from Valley in 1989-90 and present turmoil.
Dr Dubey said that separatists are trouble- shooters and there is every apprehension that they may make another conspiracy against the nationalist forces in the State.
Dr Dubey also criticized the proposed visit of Indian Foreign Minister, S M Krishna to Pak in view of the harsh stand of that country against India. He said Mr Krishana should only visit Pakistan after the neighboring country makes an announcement to release Sarbjeet Singh who lying in Pakistani jail and closes the training camps in PoK.
Pakistan Government has betrayed India, which instead of releasing Sarbjeeet Singh announced the release of Surjit Singh.
He said Pakistan has always backstabbed India and the country needs not to be trusted any more. India has always extended hand of friendship to Pakistan and treated it as a friendly nation but the Pakistan has not given the same treatment to India, he added.
