VHP takes serious exception to Home Minister’s letter

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Oct 2: Vishaw Hindu Parishad (VHP) has taken serious exception to reported letter written by Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde asking the State Government not to harass the Muslim youth arrested in connection of various cases.
The VHP is totally surprised over the letter of Union Home Minister, VHP State president, Dr Rama Kant Dubey told reporters here today.
Terming it an appeasement policy towards a particular community Dr Dubey said that it shows that Mr Shinde himself does not have faith in the law of the land as the law does not discriminate against any one.
He said such statements will embolden the community youth playing in the hands of some anti national forces and organizations who are hell bent in disintegrating this nation.
Dr Dubey said that the letter will also have direct impact on the J&K where some youth are involved in stone pelting and other anti –social activities. Instead of writing the letter to States Mr Shinde should have  his faith on the law of the land, he added.
