JAMMU, Apr 30: Warning agitation against the authorities if it failed to enforce the law in letter and sprit against the cow slaughter and banning of bovine animals smuggling to Kashmir Valley, VHP today accused the Government of showing total leniency towards the bovine smugglers in the State which has become a cause of concern for the people in this region.
“We demand that the law regarding ban on cow slaughter be implemented in letter and spirit in the State’’ VHP general secretary, Dr Sham Lal Gupta told reporters here today.
He said the bovine smugglers have become so emboldened in the State that they are not afraid when they put a head of a slaughtered cow on face book. There is a lot of resentment among the Hindus in the country against the same as they worship cow for being environment friendly and promoting human prosperity on this universe.
