VHP’s concern over snatching of arms by terrorists from cops

JAMMU, Oct 19: Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP) senior leader, Dr Rama Kant Dubey has expressed his serious concern over the snatching of arms by terrorists from the local police in Valley and termed it a very dangerous trend.
In a statement issued here today, Dr Dubey said that the government should take cognizance of the same as the situation is grave and challenging.
He said the security agencies should be grilled and intelligence agencies be taken to task for their failure in taking preemptive measures. Dr Dubey said that after the government’s strictness on borders the militants have started a trend to loot the arms and ammunition from the police personnel to continue their activities.
He said at various places local police without the resistance is surrendering the arms which creates many apprehensions in the minds of people.
He also expressed concern over the surfacing of Chinese flags at various places in Kashmir and demanded a thorough probe in the matter. The people responsible for the same be punished, he added .
He said the Government should do surgical strike on hideouts of terrorists within Valley and the separatists and terrorists arrested by the police and security agencies be jailed outside the State.
