RAJOURI, Nov 19: BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta today visited Ambedkar Park near Salani Bridge Rajouri and chaired a Citizens programme there. The programme was organised by Ambedkar Welfare Committee Rajouri.
During his tour MLC accompanied by BJP leaders and members of Ambedkar Welfare Committee visited various parts of the part and suggested measures for the beautification of the park.
Addressing the citizens there Vibodh said that this park is located at a very strategic location and is at the main entry point of the Rajouri city. Also since Rajouri city has not much places for recreation so this park if developed properly can provide a proper recreation facility to our senior citizens. He also appreciated the role of Ambedkar Welfare committee for their active involvement in park management.
While referring to recent initiative of the Government on crusade against black money, Vibodh said that such moves will create massive development options in future. He further added that our PM Narendra Modi besides being a visionary person is also most hard working leader of the country. His vision is to include every section of the society for inclusive growth and development of the country.
On the occasion. MLC also announced a assistance of Rs. 2 lakh for the beautification of the park. Former Chairman Rajouri Municipality also addressed the gathering and called for civil society’s active participation in developing and managing such places. Among others who were present on the occasion included Dinesh Sharma, Rajinder Gupta Atam Gupta KamalBakshi, Kamal Gupta Bodh Raj, Ashwani Kochar, Koshal Gupta.
