RAJOURI, Oct 25: BJP senior leader and MLC, Vibodh Gupta today termed the recent victory of the party in the Urban Local Bodies (ULB) election as historic. He devoted this victory of the party to each and every worker who are working with missionary zeal for ensuring inclusive growth and development across the State.
Vibodh made these remarks while inaugurating the new housing colony at Jawahar Nagar here. This housing colony is at Ward Number 6 and has been renamed by the local residents of the colony. Latter while addressing the local residents of the area Vibodh said that the election of a large number of party candidates these elections is a clear indication of the fact that BJP has further strengthened its position in the State.
He further added that these elections have strengthened the party base at the grass root level and this will further boost growth and development in the State. Appreciating the setup of democratic institutions at the municipal level, Vibodh said that with this BJP has emerged as a mass based credible political power across the State. This, he said is a clear endorsement of the common masses on various policies and programmes of the Modi Government.
He also appreciated the local level party workers for their hard work which has ensured this. The results of these elections have shown that people have very strongly and positively responded to the developmental agenda of the BJP. On this occasion he called upon every person associated with the party to work hard for inclusive growth and development of all the three regions of the State.
Latter a delegation of the local residents of the Ward No. 6 presented a memorandum to the MLC and requested him for proper repair and maintenance of the road of the New Housing Colony at Jawahar Nagar Rajouri. On this Vibodh called the team of officers to prepare a DPR and immediately start work on this road project. Local residents expressed their gratitude to the MLC for his visit to their area and for early resolution of the genuine demands.
