NEW DELHI, July 24: A delegation from the Rajouri-Poonch, led by BJP J&K general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta, called on Union Law and Justice Minister, Arjun Ram Meghwal, who is also the Prabhari for the Anantnag Rajouri Parliamentary seat under the Lok Sabha Pravas Yojna. The delegation, which included Bharat Bushan Vaid, Sohail Malik, Ahsan Mirza, Tikku Khan, Gurdev Thakur, Passeep Sharma , Zulafkar Ali, Shakti Sharma, Talib Hussain Chishtee and others engaged in a productive discussion, highlighting and addressing key and pressing issues pertaining to Rajouri-Poonch with the intent to find suitable resolutions.
During the meeting, Vibodh emphasized the abundant tourism potential of Rajouri-Poonch, which included the serene seven lakes, mesmerizing hills, and enchanting waterfalls. He expressed his gratitude to Law Minister for his unwavering dedication to serve the people.
The delegation also lauded various developmental works undertaken by the Modi Government to realize the tourism potential of Rajouri-Poonch. Notably, the construction of the Jammu to Poonch Highway and the announcement of an all-weather tunnel on Mughal Road, among other initiatives, were mentioned as crucial steps towards unlocking the area’s tourism prospects.
Arjun Ram Meghwal, assured the delegation that the BJP Government, under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is steadfast in its commitment to the welfare of every citizen, ensuring that no one is left behind.
Meghwal, conveyed his determination to support genuine demands raised by the delegation on a priority basis. He emphasized that the Government remains dedicated to uplifting the area and creating an environment that fosters growth and prosperity for the people of Rajouri-Poonch.
