RAJOURI, May 23: Apni Party’s candidate for Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat Zaffar Iqbal Manhas along with BJP J&K general secretary and Incharge for Anantnag-Rajouri Parliamentary seat, Vibodh Gupta held an impressive roadshow in Jawahar Nagar, Rajouri today.
The road show, marked by a large turnout, saw enthusiastic supporters moving in support of the Apni Party’s candidate. Addressing the gathering Vibodh Gupta said that the National Conference (NC) and PDP have no ideology and simply want to gain power by any means. “INDI Alliance is dynastic, corrupt and engages in the politics of appeasement. This is the case with PDP also. They only know how to engage in the politics of appeasement and engage in corrupt practices; they have no concern for the people”, he added.
Vibodh urged people to vote and support dynamic and charismatic Apni Party leader, Zaffar Iqbal Manhas and strengthen Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat. He strongly asserted that under his leadership, marginalised and deprived sections of the society will be further empowered with the Mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas”. He stated that voters should align themselves with nationalist forces and contribute to the progress of the nation.
Speaking on the occasion, Zaffar Iqbal Manhas expressed gratitude to the people of Rajouri-Poonch-Anantnag for showering overwhelming love and blessings on him and asserted, ” I will dedicate myself to the all-inclusive and comprehensive development of my people ensuring better roads, rail connectivity, accessible health care and education.” Manhas said that there was a time when politics was based on caste, religion, region, and nepotism, but under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi , politics in the country is now guided by good governance. He maintained that delivery of ST status to Paharis and political reservation and Forest rights to Gujjar-Bakerwals have empowered both these Tribes and the people of these Tribes will definitely vote Apni Party in retort to NC-PDP leaders who misguided and exploited them for decades.
Meanwhile, Manhas made an appeal to voters of Anantnag -Rajouri constituency including displaced Kashmiri Pandits to cast their vote in his favour on May 25 and assured them that he will sincerely work for bridging the gulf created by 34 year long turmoil between different communities due to wrong policies of earlier Governments.
