RAJOURI, Oct 15: Accelerating the pace of development in Rajouri district, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta today inaugurated a transformer of 24 KVA for the Narian village the funds for which were provided earlier from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Speaking on the occasion, Vibodh said that Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing tremendous development since the abrogation of Article 370. He lauded Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha for various projects and packages announced by him to boost the engine of growth and development in the UT. He said,” LG is an accomplished administrator with great vision under whom J&K is ushering into a new era of progress and prosperity”.
Gupta complimented LG administration for Rs 1,350-crore economic package aimed at reviving the economy of the Union Territory which has been badly hit by lockdowns. He said that 50 per cent discount on water and electricity charges for a year for industrial and commercial consumers is a welcome step amid at helping the revival of Industry.
Gupta asserted that the LG Government has taken very innovative steps to further the cause of Atam Nirbhar Bharat and boosted various sectors including the sports, tourism and employment in the UT. He said that the top leadership of BJP is sincerely and religiously committed to empower the people of J&K by ending years of instability.
On this occasion Sarpanch, Jagmohan Kour complemented Vibodh Gupta for his active presence in the villages and his commitment to develop remote border areas on modern lines. BJP Mandal president, Lovely Bakshi also spoke on the occasion and complimented Vibodh Gupta for facilitating development in remote corners of the UT.
