RAJOURI, Dec 13: Accelerating the pace of development works in Rajouri district, the Member of Legislative Council (MLC) and State Vice President of BJP Advocate Vibodh Gupta inaugurated a submersible hand pump at Naban, here.
This new pump will discharge 5000 gallons of freshwater per hour as compared to old one which was having a capacity of 2500 gallons per hour.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta informed the gathering that this new pump will benefit the residents of Lower Naban, Peer Kanju and old bus stand as people living in these areas were facing acute shortage of water from past many years.
BJP Rajouri district president Dinesh Sharma, Beopar Mandal President Rajouri Vijay Gupta and XEn PHE Rajouri Nisar Khan also addressed the gathering.
Among others present were Kamal Bakshi, Bashir Bhat, Rajiv Rotra, Naresh Bakshi, Subash Gupta, Koshal Gupta, Vikas Dutta and Nishu Gupta.
