RAJOURI, Sept 23: In a move to further private sector contribution in the development of twin districts of Rajouri-Poonch, MLC Vibodh Gupta along with MLA, Qamar Choudhary inaugurated a 32 slice CT Scan machine set up by Manik Mahajan with an investment of Rs 1.5 crore.
While speaking at the inaugural function, MLC, Vibodh Gupta extended best wishes to Manik and also promised all possible help. He said, “ in recent years ,the border districts of Rajouri-Poonch have emerged as two strategically important districts in J&K leading in all fronts and sectors whether it is health, business or tourism but there is lot to be done to galavanise private sector”. “The onus to promote private sector lies in the hands of the youth”, he added.
He said, “ BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendar Modi has empowered the youth through a number of revolutionary schemes such as Mudra”. He asked the youth of twin districts of Rajouri & Poonch to avail the benefits of these schemes and contribute in the dream of making Rajouri-Poonch as model districts.
Turning towards health sector, MLC said, “ the lack of mini private health units or centers in Rajouri-Poonch has left a vacuum in health sector and this vacuum can only be filled by the young generation of twin border districts”. He asserted that the installation of 32 slice CT- scan machine is a step towards strengthening health sector and is a major relief to the people of Rajour -Poonch who usually rush to Jammu for CT-scan . He appealed the youth to espouse the cause of grooming the twin districts and render valuable services to its people.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Qamar Choudhary also extended best wishes to Manik and said installation of CT scan machine is another big boost to health sector in Rajouri-Poonch. He said that such initiativies are commendable and need to be encouraged. He appealed the youth to come forward and contribute in the development of twin districts. He said that the endeavors and initiatives by the youth will be for the empowerment of their district and the people only. He asked the youth to step ahead for development of Rajouri-Poonch districts.
Other prominent citizens and health experts who attended the function were Dr. Mustaq, Dr. Vidushi, Dr. Sangeeta, Dr Arshad, Dr. Zakir, Dr. Abdul Salam, Dr. Zubar, Dr. Nisar, and Dr. Irfan.
