BJP’s popularity has increased: Sham

JAMMU, Feb 17: Senior BJP leader and party general secretary, Vibodh Gupta held meeting with the BJP workers of the Jammu rural and focused on the need of strengthening party at the grass-root level to ensure effective management of organizational structure at the ground level. He was accompanied by J&K UT vice-president and Prabhari, Jammu Rural, Sham Lal Sharma, organisational secretary, Inderjeet Sharma and district president, Rajinder Chib, district Executive members, district Morchas president, general secretaries, and Mandal presidents also attended the meeting.
Vibodh exhorted party workers to ensure public welfare programmes initiated by the Central Government under PM Narendra Modi are implemented at the grass-root level. He also appealed to them to consolidate party’s position among all sections of society on the lines of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas aur Sabka Vishwas. He strongly asserted that BJP is the only political party with the democratic organisational setup.
Youth of the country today realizes it very well that dynasty politics poses biggest menace to democracy in India. Congress, National Conference and PDP are caught in the web of family politics. In such a situation, the role of BJP has increased even more to provide the youth of the country with the right platform and opportunities to contribute in the national politics, Vibodh said.
In his address Sham Lal Sharma said that BJP’s popularity has increased manifold in Jammu and Kashmir in last seven years and it has emerged as the single largest party in DDC elections. He asserted that the rising popularity of BJP in J&K has baffled Opposition. He urged party workers to further strengthen the party at ground and remain in touch with the common people. Public interaction should be organised and discussion on various policies of the Government should be made to ensure that people are benefited from these schemes.
Organisational secretary, Inderjeet Sharma also spoke on the occasion. He spoke at length on the ideology and policy of Bhartiya Janata Party and highlighted numerous facts to counter the misleading agenda of the opposition.
