JAMMU, Oct 28: Vigilance Awareness Week began today in the Commissionerate of Income Tax, J&K.
On the inaugural day, Commissioner of Income Tax, A K Thatai administered the pledge to all the officers and officials of the department for continuously striving to bring about integrity and transparency in all spheres of their activities.
They also pledged that they will work unstintingly for eradication of corruption in all spheres of life and work towards the growth and reputation of their organization through collective efforts.
Senior officers of the Income Tax Department-R K Kakar, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax Range-I, Jammu, Rakesh Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Range-2, Jammu and Mini Chandran U, Deputy Commissioner of IncomeTax (Hq) Jammu also spoke on the occasion.
