DODA, Sept 20: On the basis of a complaint, a Joint Surprise Check of the records was conducted by the Vigilance sleuths of Jammu in the office of Tehsil Supply Officer, CA&PD Deptt. Thathri.
There was complaint of large scale fraud, bungling, misappropriation and embezzlement of ration by the officers/officials of CA&PD Deptt.
During Joint Surprise Check, the record including Issue register, Remittance register, Receipt and dispatch register of food grains and other suspected documents were seized by the Vigilance team. The record so seized by the Vigilance sleuths is under scrutiny. Further course of action will be taken into the matter after completion of scrutiny of record seized in the case.
