Vigilance Week observed

JAMMU, Nov 7: Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, (RSS) Shri Ranbir Campus observed National Integration Week and Vigilance Week from October 31 to November 7, 2016 in its Kot Bhalwal premises. In the Valedictory function, today, Shakti Pathak, OSD to Deputy CM was the Chief Guest, whereas Shakti Sharma, president, Brahman Sabha, J&K, general secretary, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, J&K and general secretary, Baba Kailakh Nath Management Committee, was the distinguished guest. The Function was presided over by Principal of the Campus, Prof. Ramanuja Devanathan.
In his address, Shakti Sharma said that “we need to be vigilant in all the fields of life., We should be alert and spot the places of corruption and take a decisive action by alerting the society also about the menace of corruption’’. He said that just as Sardar Patel was vigilant about the threats which loomed over the newly independent India and took measures by ensuring the unity and integrity of the nation, similarly we should also be attentive to the threats which confront our nation today and work for ensuring the integrity of the nation’’.
Vigilance Awareness Week 2016 was also observed from October 31 to November 5 in Chenab Valley Power Project Private Ltd at CO Jammu, Pakal Dul, Kiru and Kwar Hydroelectric Projects, Kishtwar. The theme of the Vigilance Awareness Week of this year was “public participation in promoting integrity and eradication of corruption’’.
