SAMBA, Oct 8: Vijaypur police arrested an absconder who was evading arrest for last nine years.
A team of Police Station, Vijaypur under the overall supervision of Dr. Koshal Sharma, SSP Samba headed by Inspector, Rajinder Sharma, SHO Police Station, Vijaypur and under the close supervision S. Baljeet Singh, SDPO Vijaypur arrested the absconder namely, Surinder Kumar, son of Thoru Ram of Ward No. 10 Rakh Sarkaran, Hiranagar from Hiranagar, police said .
He was involved in case FIR NO. 47/2009 U/S 279 RPC, 3 PCA Act, 3/81 M.V Act registered at P/S Vijaypur. Police said that he was evading arrest for the last nine years after commission of crime and the arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC stand issued against him by the CJM Court Samba.
