BANIHAL, Feb 27: Minister of State for Technical Education, Power, CAPD and Information Vikar Rasool today inaugurated the two ambulances for Banihal and Ukharal in a function at Sub District Hospital(SDH) Banihal.
General Manager IRCON D.P.Choudhary, AGMs, K.A. Rao, Kewal Ramani, M. Kumar DGM Finance, N. Joshi, DGM Jasvinder Singh Saini, Tehsildar Banihal, Dr. Usman Khan, BMO Banihal and BMO Ukhral were also present on the occasion.
The ambulances and medical equipments are donated by IRCON International Ltd. Banihal under Corporate Social Responsibility Programme.
GM DP Choudhary apprised the Minister the company distributed 25 solar lights, school bags with stationary furniture, computers, generator and electrical items for ITI Banihal. The company has also constructed the toilet blocks in 18 schools and skill development programmes for youth started by the company in area.
Later, Minister also visit the SDH Banihal and took stock of facilities being provided by the hospital authorities to outdoor and indoor patients.
