Vikar inaugurates J&K Bank branch at Khari

RAMBAN, Aug 8: To further spread the network of banking facilities across the State, Minister of State for Technical Education, Power and Information, Vikar Rasool Wani today dedicated a new business unit of J&K Bank at Khari Banihal.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister thanked the J&K Bank management for providing this business unit in one of the far flung areas of district Ramban. He said the facility will benefit thousands of people in the area as this was the long pending demand of the locals. He informed that the branch shall provide CBS (Core Banking Solutions) facilities to the inhabitants of the area.
The Minister urged the bank authorities to ensure cent percent financial inclusion by providing the basic financial facilities as per the guidelines of Reserve Bank of India so that poor masses can be benefited at their doorsteps.
Later the Minister addressed a largely attended public meeting at Khari and highlighted the achievements of the present Government. He said the Coalition Government has kept the education and health sector on top priority and during the past over five years massive development in essential sectors has taken place. The people can make a difference on the ground situation, he added.
The Minister informed that school buildings have been constructed at Khari, Shagan, Trigam, Chapnari, Amkote, Chachihaal, Chamalwas, Checknarwah, Senabati and Maligam by the present Government. In addition more than 300 schools have been upgraded/established and equal number of  ReT teachers were appointed during this tenure of the Government.
