JAMMU, Dec 14: To declare Nowshera Zone Catract Free Viklang Chatra Trust organised the third free eye operation camp of the year at SDH Nowshera from December 11.
The camp was organized in close cooperation with Directorate of Health and Blindness Control Society Jammu. Since December 11, 250 eye sufferers were checked up and treated in the camp and 60 patients were registered for surgery.
Dr Rajeev Sharma and Dr Arti Sharma, Eye Surgeons of Health Department with assistance of Ajay Anand, Ram Krishan Sharma and theatre staff of SDH Nowshera operated 53 catract with IoL.
Free pre and post operations medicine, spectacles, eye drops for 40 days were provided to the operated patients.
