JAMMU, Dec 23: In a sweeping display of commitment to the development, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has been making waves across various districts in Jammu and Kashmir.
The ongoing 72-day campaign aims to raise awareness and ensure the saturation of key Government schemes within a specific timeframe.
In Reasi District, Principal Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department, Prashant Goyal, actively participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at the Auditorium of the DC office Complex.
The event featured a vibrant showcase of local culture, with talented local artists adding rhythmic beats to the proceedings. Goyal inaugurated an IEC van delivering a recorded message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing the collective pledge for a developed India.
Chinar Town Bijbehara in Anantnag District embraced the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra with unparalleled enthusiasm.
Commissioner Secretary Labour and Employment, Rehana Batul, participated in the campaign, underscoring the Government’s dedication to citizen welfare and transformative developmental endeavors.
She engaged with the local community, assessing progress on various Central Government schemes, and highlighted the tangible benefits of flagship initiatives.
People at Panchayat Dori of Block Kharah Balli in Jammu District accorded a rousing welcome to the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
The VBSY Van, part of the ongoing campaign, was welcomed by the Swagat Committee, PRI representatives, and prominent citizens. The event witnessed active participation from various departments, showcasing their achievements and services.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra IEC Van traversed through Panchayats in Rajouri District, marking the 26th day of the 72-day outreach and awareness campaign.
The initiative aims to facilitate direct interaction between the Government and beneficiaries, providing a platform for individuals to voice their needs and concerns. Personal stories and experiences shared during the yatra contribute to a better understanding of ground realities.
Under the guidance of Prof Farooq Ahmed, Principal, Government Degree College Thannamandi, an extension lecture unfolded at the campus, illuminating the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.
In his presentation, Principal Prof Farooq Ahmed expounded on the vision, acknowledging the commendable efforts of Dr Naseem Ahmed, the Nodal Officer of Viksit Bharat at the college.
The event not only enriched the understanding of Viksit Bharat@2047 but also served as a platform for insightful discussions and appreciation of collective efforts towards this visionary endeavour.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reached Panchayat Madoon, Block Rajpura in District Samba, with Commissioner Food and Drug Administration, Shakeel ul Rehman Rather.
The event showcased stalls by different departments and included a cultural program by students. The campaign serves to spread awareness about the flagship schemes of the Government.
As part of the Yatra, Director Sericulture Department, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, presided over a mega event at Town Hall Hajin in Bandipora District.
The event aimed to raise awareness among the local populace and saturate all Government schemes. PRIs, DDC Members, BDCs, PRIs, general public, local youth, and prominent citizens actively participated.
Guided by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra entered its 26th day in Ramban District, marking a significant milestone. The Yatra covered 136 Panchayats, with impactful engagement in hilly Panchayats like Mahu Upper, Sarachi, Sarbagni-A, and Sarbagni-B. Stakeholder departments actively disseminated crucial information about government initiatives.
