JAMMU, Dec 18: In a widespread initiative to foster development and community awareness, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) has been making significant strides across various districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
As part of the yatra, Commissioner Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Sheetal Nanda, spearheaded a visit to Basantpur Panchayat of Kathua District, engaging in events and addressing locals. The focus was on educating residents about Government schemes and programs, promoting socio-economic empowerment.
There, the campaign made a transformative impact, collaborating closely with local communities, Panchayati Raj Institutions, and leaders to empower individuals and strengthen the community fabric.
District Pulwama witnessed a mega program at Noorpora Awantipora, attended by Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Dr Basharat Qayoom, and other dignitaries. The event showcased Government achievements, schemes, and featured sports activities fostering community involvement.
The Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) successfully organized VBSY at multiple locations, offering free health check-ups, Aadhar card registration, and sharing beneficiaries’ life-changing experiences through “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani.”
Expanding its reach, the VBSY reached 8 wards of Municipal Committee Devsar in District Kulgam, emphasizing sustainable development and touching lives at the grassroots level.
Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, VBSY continued its impactful journey through Ramban District, covering 116 panchayats and municipalities.
VBSY reached a significant milestone in Kishtwar District, covering 116 connected Panchayats, showcasing the success of the initiative in collaboration with local authorities.
IEC Vans in Udhampur received a warm reception as VBSY extended its influence to 10 Panchayats, fostering awareness and ensuring comprehensive coverage of Centrally Sponsored Schemes.
The District Industries Centre (DIC) Bandipora organized an awareness program focusing on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and Regulatory Compliance for Approval of Manufacturing Premises (RAMP) initiatives.
VBSY reached Pattan Municipal Area of Baramulla, engaging the community and illuminating the public about ongoing government welfare schemes for comprehensive development.
In Anantnag District, VBSY demonstrated commitment to national progress, overcoming challenges and engaging local communities despite adverse weather conditions.
The transformative VBSY journey unfolded across nine Panchayats in Wavoora block, Kupwara District, emphasizing community participation and covering a significant portion of the district.
