Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reaches more beneficiaries across J&K

JAMMU, Jan 10: The ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), aimed at empowering people at the grassroots level by providing them with the benefits of various Central Government Schemes, today reached more beneficiaries across J&K.
As part of the campaign, Member Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma attended a programme at Panchayat Nougran in Block Bishnah of Jammu District.
Residents and members of the Panchayati Raj Institutions warmly welcomed the MP, highlighting the importance of this yatra led by Block Development Officer Bishnah, Roopali Mahajan.
To promote public awareness, various Government departments set up informative stalls showcasing schemes in areas like Rural Development, Agriculture, Horticulture, Health, Animal Husbandry, Handloom, and Handicraft.
Addressing the gathering, the Member Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma appealed people to take maximum benefits out of the Central Government schemes.
In Kangan area of Ganderbal District, Inspector General (IG) of Registration, J&K, Sheikh Arshad Ayub presided over the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Programme. The event, held at the Block Conference Hall Kangan, witnessed the enthusiastic participation of civil society members and locals. Various line departments emphasized the significance of welfare schemes under their purview.
District Administration Kathua reached Panchayat Jagatpur in Block Keerian Gandyal as part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Minhas and DDC member Dr Shweta engaged with the community, addressing concerns and needs on-the-spot during the Block Diwas Proceedings.
In Rajouri, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is gaining momentum, transforming the district by extending its reach to underserved areas. An Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van play a pivotal role in engaging local communities, imparting crucial knowledge, and empowering residents to benefit from Government schemes.
In Pulwama, Deputy Commissioner Dr Basharat Qayoom presided over the Block Diwas cum Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Block Headquarter Kakapora. Various line departments showcased their schemes to enlighten the public about available opportunities. The event witnessed a substantial turnout, with public delegations voicing their demands and expressing gratitude for the District Administration’s responsiveness.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra continued its transformative journey in Block Verinag in Anantnag, captivating the hearts and minds of the public across various Gram Panchayats. The initiative is becoming a beacon of change, reaching significant milestones and creating awareness about Government welfare programs.
In Ramban District, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, led by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, is creating a wave of positive change. With over 82,200 active participants, including 31,800 women, this 44-day initiative focuses on implementing crucial Government schemes and spreading awareness about beneficiary-oriented programs.
Lastly, in Panchayat Khara Madana, Block Purmandal of Samba District, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra marked a significant stride in development and progress. Villagers warmly welcomed the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van, actively participating in showcasing Government scheme achievements.
