JAMMU, Jan 13: The ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) has made significant strides across Jammu and Kashmir by providing benefits of various Centrally Sponsored Schemes to the prospective beneficiaries at their door step.
Under the guidance of Prabhari Officer, Government of India, Mushtaq Ahmed and DC Budgam Akshay Labroo, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) program witnessed significant developments in Budgam District.
The program included a session at Townhall Chadoora in Budgam, where various departments showcased their products, creating awareness about different schemes and flagship initiatives.
The Prabhari Officer appreciated the successful execution of the VBSY program across all gram panchayats and municipal wards of the district.
In Srinagar District, the VBSY was expanded to include Rathpora Eidgah, demonstrating Srinagar Municipal Corporation’s commitment to engaging with the public.
The IEC Van, a key component of the VBSY initiative, was welcomed by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Dr Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat and Chief Transport Officer SMC. Throughout the VBSY events, representatives from various departments actively participated, providing in-depth information about the core objectives and procedural intricacies of their respective schemes.
Fueled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is making strides in advancing prosperity in Block Vessu of Anantnag District.
The Yatra’s visit to various locations resonates with a remarkable upswell of public engagement, symbolizing a united dedication to fostering development in the region.
The nationwide initiative is set to leave a lasting impact, covering 2.60 lakh Gram Panchayats and over 4000 urban local bodies by January 25, 2024.
Pulwama District witnessed an indelible mark made by the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, transcending geographical confines and ushering in a new era of holistic development.
The Yatra’s commitment to universal inclusivity creates a transformative narrative, blending cultural richness with technological advancement.

In Rajouri District, the VBSY strategically transforms underserved areas, using an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van to create awareness about government initiatives.
The van plays a pivotal role in engaging with local communities, imparting crucial knowledge, and empowering residents to avail themselves of the benefits offered by government schemes.
