POONCH, Sept 1: A villager was today injured when bear attacked him outside his house in Barachar area of Mandi in Poonch district.
Family members said that a bear with two cubs was there near the house. When the elderly person came outside bear attacked and left him injured. He was taken to SDH Mandi from where they shifted him to District Hospital, Poonch.
Doctors identified injured as Abdul Ahad, son of Subhana Bhat resident of Barachar, Mandi. They said that he was treated here and kept under observation. His condition was stable.
