UDHAMPUR, Apr 15: A deputation of villagers Chak Railway Station and Bal Nagar, Kambal Danga, Thathi and Dhanu areas, called on Deputy Chief Engineer Northern Railway Department Udhampur and demanded construction of road adjoining the Rail track.
The deputation, led by Pritam Singh Jamwal, said that construction of this approximately 700 meter long road is a long pending demands of the people of the area.
The Deputy Chief Engineer assured that he would take up the matter with higher authority.
