SAMBA, Oct 14 : Protesting against the local transport, the villagers of Rahyan and the adjoining areas today protested against the mismanagement as well as the unscheduled services by the local transporters.
The protestors gathered at border road Samba near the village blocked the road for two hours from 9 am to 11 am. They were demanding that the local transporters should frame a schedule for timing so that the students as well as employees will not face problems in reaching their destinations.
They alleged that the local transports were not lifting the students from various stops due to which they miss their classes. They warned the District Administration that in case the problem was not solved they will be forced to intensify agitation.
