UDHAMPUR, July 21: The residents held protest against PMGSY Department over worst condition of under construction road from Dhar road to village Nakki in Block Khoon.
The protestors led by Naib Sarpanch Zatoon raised slogans against the PMGSY Department.
The Naib Sarpanch said that the people are suffering because of delay in completion of this road work. This road is in worst condition and people suffer a lot while commuting.
“The condition of road worsens during rainfall and it becomes almost impossible for the people to walk on or commute on this road”, Naib Sarpanch said, adding that two kilometre stretch of the road needs immediate completion so that people will have some sign of relief.
Due to worst condition of the road, the school going children also face lot of difficulties, Naib Sarpanch added.
The protestors said that this issue was taken up with the concerned officials of the PMGSY Department, but nothing has been done till now.
They appealed to the LG Manoj Sinha to intervene into the issue and direct the concerned authorities to complete the pending work on this road.
