DODA, Jan 2: The residents of Dhawery area of sub district Gandoh Bhellessa and adjoining areas today staged a protest demonstration against Roads & Buildings (R&B) Department over delay in construction work of Bhangru-Kholtan Shahlala- Dhawery road.
Locals this morning assembled at Dhawery and blocked the Bhangru-Dhawery-Gandoh road demanding immediate execution of the work of Bhangru Dhawery road via Kholtan Shahlala, which is lying pending for past over two months.
The protesters condemned the attitude of Special Sub Division of Road and Building Department Gandoh and administration for delaying the construction work of the Road. They said that if the construction work on these roads via Kholtan Shahlala road is not started in one week then they will sit on the road and block the traffic at Gandoh as their repeated requests to execute the work of the Road has fallen to the deaf ears of the officers of the R&B Department.
